Das „Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center“ (ADNEC) wurde als offizieller Veranstaltungsort bestätigt, um eine Bühne von globalem Rang für das gesamte Spektrum an sportlichen Wettkämpfen und Fan-Erlebnissen zu bieten.

Phygital-Sport auf dem Weg zu einer globalen Bewegung

„Wir sind begeistert, dass Abu Dhabi Tausende von Phygital-Athletinnen und Athleten, -Clubs und -Fans zu den ,Games of the Future 2025, begrüßen wird“, kommentiert Nis Hatt, CEO von Phygital International. Neben den Elite-Wettbewerben soll es auf dieser Veranstaltung auch Virtual-Reality-Bereiche zur Einbindung der Fans, kulturelle Aktivitäten und Technologiepräsentationen geben. An der ersten Ausgabe der „Games of the Future“ hatten laut Veranstalter über 2.000 Athleten aus mehr als 100 Ländern teilgenommen – diese sei weltweit übertragen worden und habe über 300.000 Zuschauer bzw. Fans angelockt.

„The Games of the Future: Abu Dhabi, 2025“ sollen nun ein starkes nächstes Kapitel für die Phygital-Bewegung markieren und die Spiele zu einem neuen Publikum im Nahen Osten bringen – wo „Ambition, Experimentierfreude und kühne Anwendungen von Technologie besonders gedeihen“. Mit Abu Dhabis einzigartiger Mischung aus Innovation und kultureller Dynamik sei die Bühne für ein „einzigartiges globales Erlebnis“ bereitet.
