The event will bring together over 80 international speakers from 20 countries and will feature six keynotes, 45 panel discussions and 16 workshops, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for cultural dialogue and innovation in publishing.

This event is seen as a “strategic platform“ for promoting knowledge and culture and highlighting the changing role of libraries in supporting future generations. It will explore how creativity and technology interact to strengthen the Arab world’s contribution to the global publishing landscape.

Key topics include the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation and Digital Transformation on the publishing sector, as well as storytelling in a time of rapid change.

Sessions such as “Voices Across Borders“ will explore the role of translation in connecting cultures, while “Letters in Motion“ will address creativity through writing, typography and calligraphy. The concept of purposeful publishing will also be a focus, highlighting the growing demand for socially conscious and meaningful content.

Industry gathering in Dubai also focuses on supply chain resilience

As the industry continues to evolve amid technological upheaval and changing reading habits, discussions will focus on challenges such as copyright, supply chain resilience and new formats for younger audiences.

“The results will provide practical guidance for institutions and professionals to adapt and succeed, while strengthening the region’s position within global publishing.“

Over three days, an extensive network of publishers, university presses, literary agents, booksellers and award organisations will be brought together.
